The fit

Built for the equipment dealer, not the agency

Clear the Decks is built for Canadian equipment dealers: forklift, agricultural, and construction equipment. The businesses we had in mind run three departments that historically do not talk to each other: sales, service, and accounting. A lead lands in one place, a service job lives in another, and the invoice for it happens somewhere else again. Clear the Decks puts all three on one system.

The buyer we built this for is the owner or the general manager, over 40, working from a desk. That is deliberate.

This fits you if

  • You sell or service equipment: forklifts, farm equipment, construction machinery.
  • Sales, service, and accounting each keep their own list today.
  • Leads come in from your website and get lost, forgotten, or double-handled.
  • Work gets done that never turns into an invoice.
  • You run the business from a desk, not from a truck.

This does not fit you if

If your dealer management system already has a CRM built into it, Clear the Decks is not for you. That is not a competing product to weigh against yours. It is a sign this is the wrong fit, and you should keep what you have.

Desktop first, said plainly

Clear the Decks is a desktop tool by design, built for someone running a dealership from a desk. It is not a field app for technicians, and it does not pretend to be one. The site you are reading is responsive. The product is not, and we would rather tell you that now than have you find out later.

What it deliberately does not do

Clear the Decks does not dispatch technicians, schedule service calls, manage stock, or raise invoices. It flags the work that needs billing. It does not bill it. If you already have a system for dispatch or inventory, Clear the Decks sits beside it rather than replacing it.
